ACCC - Arts Council of Carteret County

At the close of the day there were approximately 350 submissions for Art From the Heart. 50 more than last year and 150 more than the year before.

Yes!!!…the talented artists from Carteret County and surrounding areas came out in droves to enter their work and support the ACCC and this very special local arts tradition. Make sure you attend the gala reception for this exciting exhibit next Saturday night, February 16th from 6:00 - 8:00pm.

Prior to the public opening, the Arts Council will host its annual fundraiser and preview party on Friday night, February 15th at the gallery from 7:00 until 10:00 pm. This event will feature live entertainment, delicious hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and a chance for all in attendance to enjoy the artwork, much of which will be for sale. Tickets for this special preview event will be available in January for $50 per person. Proceeds from the evening will help the Arts Council fund its projects for the coming year. The show is shaping up to be one of the BEST in recent years so don’t miss the opening. If you can’t make the reception the show will be open to the public for two weeks.
